Deal Content

Each deal can include several types of content to help investors evaluate the opportunity. All content is managed through the deal's edit page in the admin panel.

Content Types

Founders

Founder profiles introduce the startup's team to investors. Each founder entry includes:

• Name and title (e.g. "CEO", "CTO")
• Bio -- a rich-text description of the founder's background
• Profile photo
• Social media URL (e.g. LinkedIn)
• Thank you quote -- an optional quote displayed after an investor commits

Multiple founders can be added to a single deal.

Videos

Deals can include one or more videos (pitch videos, product demos, founder interviews). Videos are uploaded through Cloudinary and include:

• Video name
• Display order -- controls the sequence videos appear in
• Video file -- uploaded via the Cloudinary widget in the admin panel

Videos support automatic transcription -- the platform can generate text transcripts of uploaded videos. Admins can:

• Transcribe all videos at once
• Transcribe individual videos
• Re-transcribe videos if needed

Transcriptions are used by the Casey AI assistant to answer investor questions about the deal.

Quotes

Testimonials and endorsements from investors, advisors, or industry experts. Each quote includes:

• Author name, title, and optional URL
• Author photo
• Quote text (rich text)

Documents

Several types of documents can be attached to a deal:

External Links

Deals can include links to external resources:

• Pitch deck URL -- link to an external pitch deck (with customizable label)
• Due diligence URL -- link to the SAFE note or other legal documents (with label)
• Q&A document URL -- link to a Q&A or FAQ document (with label)

Casey AI Assistant

Each deal can be connected to Casey AI, an AI-powered assistant that helps investors get answers about the deal. Casey uses the deal's pitch deck, video transcriptions, and other content to answer questions.

Admins can:

• Preview the Casey AI assistant to see how it responds
• Sync the deal's content to the global AI assistant

What Admins Should Know

• Cover image is required -- a deal needs a cover image before it looks right on the platform.
• Video transcription is automatic -- but you can manually trigger it if needed, or re-transcribe if a video is replaced.
• Documents are investor-facing -- everything uploaded here is visible to investors evaluating the deal.
• Casey AI gets smarter with more content -- the more complete the deal's content (especially pitch deck and video transcriptions), the better Casey can answer investor questions.
